this was by far one of my favorite books from Donna Grant. very sweet an amazing love story

Hidden past… uncertain future.

I was introduced to this author as a part of the Audible Escape package. This book was purchased as both and eBook and audiobook. Claimed is #14.5 in the Dark King series; which is a part of the greater Dark World. Characters from previous books appear and longer subplots are formed and beginning to build.

Gemma is the sole survivor of a family that has a magical destiny. She is running and hiding from something she doesn’t know or understand… then she hits Cinaed. He knows who she and is so struck by her beauty….. The two dive into finding answers to her past and find a future together.

As with all Donna Grant books in the Dark World series once you get in… it is hard to get out.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This book was totally amazing just as I knew it would be. Gemma has had a very lonely life and thought she didn't need anyone. Cinaed finds a picture of a little girl that touches something inside him. He needs to find the women she has become. After she runs into Cinaed (literally) Gemma realizes maybe she wants more then her solitary life. Cinaed and Gemma work together to find out about Gemma's past. And realize they needed each other more than they thought.
