Surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

Funny, sweet, touching story and a lovely narration. Wish I could find more like this! I will be listening to this one again.

A witty original and beautiful romance. Made me laugh and had to stay up till I finished the book. Outstanding narrator, did a very good job.

Absolutely a favorite of the 600+ Regency Romances which I have read.

in the end, this book won my heart entirely.

One of My Favorites

I really enjoyed this very sweet story of redemption and love. Both the hero and the heroine mature as the story progresses. Ms Metzger tells such good stories with humor and wit. Pippa Rathborne has perfect narration with keen insight to character nuances.

It's an ok listen but I really disliked the ending

The book was nice but it definitely needed an epilogue. The story felt unfinished in my opinion.

Can’t get into story. I loved a couple of Barbaras books (Letters and Lady in Green) but this one was not good for me. I kept giving it a chance but it didn’t keep.
