Elizabeth Bennet finds out that she will have to marry Mr. Collins. But Elizabeth doesn’t want to be forced to marry someone she does not love. Luck would have it that she met Darcy at the Netherfield Ball. Elizabeth brought up her wishes not to enter a forced marriage with Mr. Collins. Darcy then tells her his idea of how he can help by marrying her instead, due to being put under pressure by his own family to get married soon. Elizabeth doesn’t know which one would be better - a forced marriage with Mr. Collins or a marriage of convenience with Darcy. If she marries Darcy, will she ever fall in love with him? Will Darcy ever love her?
A Convenient Darcy Marriage is a full-length clean and sweet romance novel offers a Pride and Prejudice retelling between Darcy and Elizabeth.

One minute Lydia is indicating Eliza should not judge someone before knowing them. The next conversation Lydia is the exact opposite opinion. Darcy apologizes with Eliza accepting. Then Eliza reverts as if he never apologized. One day Darcy is the proud man. The next day he seems more like Mr. Wickham. The scene starts in Netherfield then apparently is actually taking place at Longbourne. The original challenges in Pride and Prejudice were not in my mind handled as eloquently in this version. It seems this story was a more modern interpretation since all characters had easy access to one another, but it did not keep certain elements clear to make a solid transition for this variation.
In short - I would not recommend this story!
Not consistent - Do not recommend

I know that this is JAFF and everyone is allowed to change things as they see fit, but this one is too confusing to work for me.
