Moving story

Another great galactic gladiators and full of action and emotions. This is a don't miss listening too

Action-packed

Each installment offers more action and creatures; continues with theme of earth females need to rescue fellow humans captured and doing dumb stuff to reach this goal. Still can’t stand females ungrateful attitude toward those that try to help them; I can’t imagine these obnoxious females treated their captors this way, only the man candy who lets them get away with it. Still the remaining storylines far outweigh this annoyance. Narrator continues to do a fantastic job. Some parts of this book was funny with the personal thoughts of characters. On to the next book!

Anna Hackett does it again!!

I loved this 4th installment of Galactic Gladiators. There were so many fun scenes and still one of my all time fav actions sequences. 5 Stars!!!

Love it

Love the story and love the narrator. Super fast listen. Vivienne Leheny does an awesome job on each of the characters voices so there was no confusing parts about who was talking.

Amazing! The original story line and engaging characters pulled me in and kept me there!

I loved all of it: especially the unique characters and the twists in the plot! It’s equivalent to my favorite series on the Liaden worlds.

Brilliant!

Protector follows the story of type A personality Madalyn, previously in charge of the Fortuna space station, as she is rescued and comes to terms with a life apart from her son, the guilt of losing all the space station personnel (including Blane, who they search for throughout the book) and the fear of trusting people. Although she is stand-offish and rather prickly, keeping herself busy reorganizing the House of Galen, Lore finds her fascinating. Our gladiator hero is relentless in helping her get in touch with her emotions and forces her to accept help. He rarely seems to become defeated or angry by her constantly shutting him down. Along the way there are near deaths, terrifying creatures in the sewer, AMAZING rescue of not only one but 4 humans and a blue beast who will end up being my very favorite gladiator (his story is called “Beast”). Oh, and fireworks, illusions, our first Gladiatorial engagement, an intro to Zhim, and a cameo by Rillian. And mind blowing sexy times- can’t forget those! The Audible version is so amazing - Lore has this very unique way of talking that sets him apart from the others. The drama is near perfection when Vivienne Leheny takes control of this story with her voice- I highly recommend her audio version.

Hooked!

I am hooked on the Galactic Gladiator stories. Every one of the have been exciting and hard to put down. Can’t wait to read Saff’s and Blaine’s story.

Lore, a Gladiator, and Madeline, a Civilian Commander, meet when she is rescued from the fighting ring that enslaved and sought to auction her off. Their story is unique because Madeline’s inability to accept her circumstances are shrouded in her child, who has a health a health condition, being left behind on Earth with his father. On the other hand, Lore has suffered the entire loss of his family and has learned to overcome those fatalities and provide help for the less fortunate. Lore recognizes a kindred spirit in Madeline and seeks to help her acclimate to her current surroundings and falls in love with her in the process! Vivienne Leheny continues to deliver a fantastic performance of all the characters making this a wonderful listening experience!!

Another five fantastic star audiobook

Fell in love again with another amazing Anna Hackett gladiator. These are fantastic visual and audio stories. Vivienne has done an outstanding job with theses stories. They strong, fierce, protective and amazing characters, that fight and love with unique skills a d abilities. Especially this story and this gladiator. I love them all. On to the next. I am so glad I did not pass on these amazing stories.

Madeleine and Lore

Lore has 'bothered' Madeleine since the beginning. The fool man wouldn't leave her to suffer, was always looking after her health, and also did and said the sweetest things. The nerve.

The search is still on for the known abducted human(s) and Madeleine uses that to help distract her from the knowledge she won't ever be able to get back to her son on Earth. Oh, and that pesky man who keeps making her feel things...

Such a great continuation of the galactic gladiators series. A standalone story with all the wanted interconnectivity of the previous books. As the reader, I'm fully invested in these people and Carthago's goings-on, and am hard pressed to let Anna stop telling all the stories about this world.
