Yes. This is a great paranormal romance with mystery and suspense surrounding the couple.

Kyle and Stephanie's story is unique. Both are loners of a sort and their story of coming together makes a great paranormal audio book. I especially appreciate the layers of different characters that Anna (the author) sprinkles throughout her books.

Desert Fate

Kyle and Stefanie are by far my favorite couple in this series so far! The strength Stefanie has in phenomenal and the opportunity to fall in love with a friend from the past is always a great story. These two are so deep with their own emotions and struggle with the reality that they are enough that it is heartbreaking at times but so rewarding when they give in to the pull. I can’t wait to hear the next book with this series. Such a great group of shifters!

Would you consider the audio edition of Desert Fate to be better than the print version?

no.. print is always better but audio has so many emotions and fun in them as well

Who was your favorite character and why?

in this one cody for sure.. he was sweet.. he was soft.. he was scared and lonely.. but he was so much alpha

i honestly didnt have a favorite.. i loved it all..

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

everything.. but i love when they finally figure everything out together.. not just as individuals but as a couple. sighs.. so sweet

Wow! One Strong Woman/Wolf

Firstly I have to say that I read this book way back when it was first released, but I didn't remember all of it so it was a joy to listen to the story and be drawn in to the world of Twin Moons Ranch all over again. All the characters from the first two books are alive and well in this book too and add to the fullness of the world created by Anna Lowe.

The main characters in this book are Stephanie and Kyle, to people who as children/teens met and became fast friends whilst they were living on an army base, both being the children of army personnel. Kyle was living with his mother and a stepfather from hell and Stephanie was his only link to normality.

Jump forward 15 years or so and they meet again on Twin Moon Ranch. Kyle is a police officer, but he is also a changeling - a human bitten by a wolf who survives the change. He's still a loner despite belonging to Twin Moon Pack. He was in a fight with a rouge and would have died if he had not been taken in by the pack. He is their link to the human world via his job with the police force.

One morning he sees vultures circling in the distance and goes to investigate, what he finds is a total shock - he finds an unconscious woman, who he then realises is Stephanie. She too has been bitten by a wolf but at this stage of the story she doesn't know what has happened to her or what the implications will be.

The story then goes on and we find that in wolf law, one bite turns but the second bite binds. Will Stephanie be forced to go to the pack where she was originally attacked or will she want to stay on Twin Moon Ranch? Will she want to stay with Kyle? Will she grow to love what she is becoming or will she try to run from it? And what of the evil wolf who bit her without her permission in the first place - will he get what he deserves? So many questions which frankly I'm not going to answer because you MUST listen to this wonderful story for yourselves.

What I will say is that I loved this story, I love the whole series so it's no surprise but with each story in this series I am drawn further into this wonderful world created by Anna Lowe and the narration by Kelsey Osborne is the icing on the cake for me.

Following the Stars Home

Desert Fate brings Stef to the Twin Moons ranch while on the run. She doesn't know what happened, where she is, or why she should travel the direction that she is. And that's when Fate steps in and throws Kyle in her path. I really could feel the pull of Kyle's loneliness and pain listening his story. But for all that, he can still be a dense guy! I'm on team Stef – she was extremely likeable as someone that was strong, independent, could & would fight back. But also had a soft and vulnerable side. She needed Kyle, her wolf needed him. Stef and Kyle have been my favorite couple in the Desert Moon series so far. But there's still more to come!

The story while the 3rd in this series & stand alone doesn't require any of the previous stories. It was easy to listen to and very pleasurable with Kelsey Osborne as the narrator. While there was not a lot of vocal differential between all of the different characters including the those from the prior stories, Ms. Osborn made up for it in her wonderfully dramatic delivery. You could feel as if you were in front of the narrator as she wove the tales straight from the books hands.
