I enjoyed listening to this narration of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Everyone performed his or her part to perfection. Using a young girl, Miranda Hodges, as Alice was inspirational. I loved her sweet voice and she did a wonderful job of performing her part. I hope everyone listens to this version---you will love it.

I enjoy dramatized books, especially of favorite tales from my youth. I regret the actors for this one were just ok, not great. My biggest complaint is that they were all Americans, and only a few tried to use British accents, generally to poor effect. None of the major characters tried, and it was disconcerting to hear Alice, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the King and Queen of Hearts, and most others all speaking with American accents. Many of the male characters were also voiced by females, adding to the dissonance. Still, it was fun to hear them singing the nonsense poem. The little girl reading Alice’s lines, while struggling at times to pronounce unfamiliar words and phrases, had the authenticity of actually being a child, unlike most performers of young child roles. All in all, it was a fun listen.

Charming classic story performed by numerous voice actors.
