A true page-turner

I've never seen time travel handled this way. I like it

This might be the best installment yet...

I came across this series by chance and I am so glad I did! The first book had me so glued to the story I listened to it in one session. Each sequel has had its share of excitement, twists and adventures, but this one had me from hello, all over again.

Zara Ramm's narration has once again brought the story to life perfectly. I was delighted to learn the short stories are now available in audio too.

Well done, Ms. Taylor, as a reader all I can say is... "An honour and a privilege" -- and I can hardly wait for the next one!

I love this whole series! The characters have become friends I don't get to visit nearly as often as I would like to enjoy their cheerfully snarky way of meeting every event - whether good or downright disastrous. In the midst of a very tense moment, I find myself laughing out loud at some comment by Max or one of the others. I must stop reading these books around other people; my friends are beginning to wonder about me

This was the best St Mary's and Max ever!

I have loved this entire series - the adventures and intrigue with great characters! And I would listen to Zara read a phone book! No one else could make these characters come alive like Zara. This book was packed with spot on accents and lively two -three - sometimes five characters switching back and forth in conversation! Amazing and fun - a pleasure to get totally lost in their world!

I recommend this for any and everyone.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Witty, exciting and a little bit silly. A great romp and great historical detail too.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and this one was no exception. The descriptions are clear and vivid and the travels full of adventure. I love the humor, esp Max's. Zara is an excellent reader and has Max down to perfection.
