Not quite there

I found this book and the Fight for Me one lacking in story content. There is no build up to the main characters and because of that the interaction of the two seems superficial at best. Just no quality to their relationship. I honestly wouldn't recommend this book because of that. I was very disappointed because this book could have been outstanding.

GET THIS BOOK!

I'm not sure what took me so long to purchase and listen to this book! I've seen it popping up as an option for the genre I love, time and time again, with great reviews. Shame on me is all I can say. This book hit all my sweet spots--it was super hot and sexy--like E.R.O.T.I.C., but, romantic, funny, and endearing, with characters that I can't wait to find out more about. This story is a great beginning to a new series that I will surely gorge myself on with a marathon listening session.

Initially, I wasn't sure about the narrator---her voice is kind of like really sugary candy but was well suited for Natalie's sweet and sassy manner. Luke and Natalie have a love affair that made me swoon--and I'm so not a swooner--but there I was, swooning while driving in my car, totally loving these two together. Overall, I'd highly recommend this book for those who want to drown themselves in love, romance and total ear melting eroticism. I loved it!

Too good to be true!!

enjoyed the references to Seattle, including the rain. Easy to create images of the main characters.

without the sex scenes, this could have been a book for adolescent teens. It was syrupy sweet and way too perfect. there was no story line. totally a waste.

Every woman have a Luke in their imagination

A lot of fantasies, the best boyfriend every woman can ever image. Hansome, kind, rich, generous. Most important, he loves her from inside and outside.
It's good to konw there is a relly Luke for evrey girl.

Steamy and romantic

It had a perfect amount of both romantic and steamy elements. I enjoy how she captivates an audience with her novels.

Language was a little strong for my taste.

Narrator was fine.

Perfectly Weak....!

Would you try another book from Kristen Proby and/or Jennifer Mack?

I'm thinking about whether or not I should move on to Book 2 "Fight with Me". I purchased book 2 not realizing it was a series, I then turn around and got book 1.

What was most disappointing about Kristen Proby’s story?

No twist to the story, simply laid out too perfect. 2 weak people sharing a perfect life is not exciting at all. Everything happened so quickly and way too much boring sex. Do people really fall in love so deeply in such a short time? Respectable parents with disrespectful children, I don't get that part. I didn't like how she handled his fans and curse around his parents!

Which scene was your favorite?

Can't think of any! If I must, I would say, when they met at the store!

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Less making out, less cursing. A little twist to the story. Them spending more time apart.

Since I already purchased book 2, I am hoping it will be less boring. It would have been a great story if so much didn't get crumbled up into one short story!

A beautiful start to a very good series!!!

What made the experience of listening to Come Away with Me the most enjoyable?

Getting introduced to all the Characters in this series. The Montgomery Brothers & Jules and then Lukes family.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Natalie. She strong yet sweet and loyal and a a great female lead!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

You will feel all emotions is this book. Not only does it have the steamy love story but some great family stories and beauitful friendships in this entire series!!!

I would absolutely recommend this series... you will laugh cry and be thoroughly entertained and fall in love with this large family.

Great start to an interesting series

This is a cute romantic book. An easy going, light read, and a break from mysteries. I enjoy the relationships between the extended families except that pain in the but Samantha. You have to have some kind of drama in a book right. Luke and Natalie are good together after they get past all of the jealousy. Will continue with the rest of the series.
