These are great old readings of classic horror stories, we had a lot of fun listening to them leading up to Halloween.
The production though leaves something to be desired--I guess they're taken from radio and one even has part of an old radio ad in the middle. Also you have to consult the details section of the audiobook to know which story is coming up, no one could be bothered to have an announcer state the title and author within the flow of the recording.

Campy old readings

Low quality recording with antiquated delivery that is impossible to understand. Both adults and both children in the room Recoiled in Horror that this made it onto the Audible platform. My nine year old says “it’s disgustingly bad” (seriously). I want my one credit back!

Terrible

I downloaded this as part of an activity for high school students and found it to be boring. Also, the stories blend into one another and there is no title to let you know which one you are listening to. Skip it and stick with one of the the Poe collections.
