Loved This Couple

Enjoyed reading their love story. I did wonder what happened to Raoul (the 17 year old runaway the sheriff met at the LGBT+ half way house). I sort of thought the sheriff would adopt him. But otherwise I liked how the story ended.

Detailed characters.

I most enoyeyed Men who ack like men and not women trapped in men's bodies. HO!

Such a history especially with mature MCs my age. Loved it very much. Michael is amazing as usual.

Not my thing but if it's yours...

I tolerate children in books when they play a Minor supporting role. Unfortunately for me, the kids in this book were a third main character. But, I can never bring myself to give a writer a bad rating just because I prefer a certain component to not be present in a book. The narration is great, the story is solid, and and while I don't enjoy the kid drama, if you do you'll probably love this book.

Nora's Done it Again...

Love this series. Just ordered Book 3 - Healing the Twin. Nora treats characters well and introduces them fully. I am so happy to see this series continue. Only thing is... I wish I could live in a town so understanding and full of all these exceptional characters! Narration was spectacular as always with Michael Dean. As long as Nora is willing to continue writing these books, she's got a customer here! Thank you....
