Publisher's summary

The dead are rising.

Reports of rioting and mob violence begin to appear in the news as more and more major cities go silent. The CDC and FEMA are powerless to stop the spread of the deadly “Reaper Virus”. Rumors fly about the nature of the “rioters”, claiming that the dead have risen to prey on the living. In the Midwest city of Springfield, Missouri, all law enforcement officers are called to report for duty.

Corrections Officer Wylie Grant is sent into the field only to discover for himself that they are facing the living dead. Wylie and National Guard Corporal Chrissy “Spec-4” Wilder must fight their way back to the Nathanael County Jail, where the few remaining officers are attempting to regroup. Soon, they find themselves leading the rescue efforts as more and more positions are overrun by the dead.

Darkness is Awakening.

Great zombie apocalypse story intertwining the Norse Gods.

This is a great series. If you like zombie apocalypse and Norse mythology then this is perfect for you. I read this series when it was first released and loved it. They pulled it back, re-edited it, put some amazingly cool cover art with it, and re-released them. Now it is on audio format too. This is one of my favorite series ever. The main characters are believable and remind my of people I’ve worked and served with. Add to that the Norse pantheon and it makes for an incredible book. I can’t wait until the next in the series is released!

Invested in the story.

For an overdone subject like zombies, This is a fresh new look and a whole lot of twist no that subject. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Good Story - Audio Needs To Fire The Editor

Good story, seems to be well written but audio book suffers from poor editing. A lot of repeated phrases, especially later chapters. Nothing like hearing the same lines restart and repeat.....

He Was Eating A Cat

Better than most zombie books. Kinda short, but good action and likable characters. The narrator is good as well. Nothing new here, but overall a good zombie diversion.

Good story, I wish it finished the book.

Good story, I didn't realize it stopped mid storyline. dissappointing. I guess I'll spend my other credit to finish the story, if its even out in audible!? Y'all should say its half a book in the description.
The guy reading it made squishy mouth sounds that were quite annoying, and I could tell he was forcing a deep voice. I like Cam Buckner alot better.
