The book reveals how progress, time, and exploration were redefined to pull individuals away from their immediate surroundings, while an invisible system consolidated itself without the need for visible confinement. That process led humanity down a path it should never have taken, transforming its environment into a vast greenhouse, a perfectly managed human zoo.
