Publisher's summary

Grizzly shifters like me don't last long without a mate. Not when your inner bear is a snarling rabid beast. He's getting harder to control. Every day, I feel my grip on him slipping. It won't be long now until he's full-on feral. Then there will only be one option. A bullet in the head.

The feral monster will have to be put down. And he'll bring me down with him. My mate is the only one who can save me. But she's not here and I'm running out of time. In desperation, I go to an auction. When I catch a whiff of her delicious scent, my bear nearly loses it. And when I see her on that stage with other men bidding on what's mine, my bear wants to destroy everything and everyone. I won't let him. Not this time.

She's mine to protect. And those men are mine to destroy. May the highest bidder win? Screw that. May the snarliest, vicious, most possessive man win. Winning bidder or not, I'm taking her. And I'm going to claim my mate.

The series where the Highest Bidder always wins. Welcome to a one-of-a-kind auction house where humans, shifters, and aliens bid on love. These ultra-rich men are ready to bring home their virgin prizes. Are you ready to join in and wish you were the one on the auction block?

Three stand-alone stories by best-selling steamy romance authors, Hope Ford, Olivia T. Turner, and Michele Mills. You've never seen an auction house like this!

Beary Good

He may not have had the most money, but he had the best growl. I adored this one. Dylan and Lucy were so perfect for each other.

Great listen

Dylan and Lucy's story was short yet hot and OTT! Lucy is the only one who calm Dylan's bear down but don't stand in his way of her. I loved how accepting of Dylan Lucy was and how she loved him even though he was very monstrous when they first met. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the rest of this series. Tor Thom and Fiona Clare did a wonderful job bringing Dylan and Lucy's story to life.

Dylan and Lucy

Story: Dylan (H), a grizzly shifter, exhibits feral behaviors due to his inability to find his mate. He decides to go to an auction and purchase a woman to help stave off his behavioral problems. Lucy (h) is homeless, jobless and penniless when she decides to sell herself at an auction. Dylan scents Lucy and instantly realizes she's his, and even though he may not have the funds to support the winning bid, nothing will stop this grizzly from claiming his mate. Intensely hot and sexy shifter quickie!

Audio: The narrators did a really great job with this story. The audiobook uses a male narrator and a female narrator – I always appreciate when an author goes for the additional costs of having two narrators so that listeners can hear male dialogue with a male voice and female dialogue with a female voice. Tor Thom his nice deep and soothing voice does a great job with the tone he brings to Dylan, and other male voices, and Fiona Clare gave Lucy a voice that seemed to embody her, as well as other female voices.

Really good fated mates romance

This was a really good fated mates/ paranormal romance. I liked the flow of the story, it was short but not rushed. It was totally over the top but in the best way. Dylan and Lucy had great chemistry and I liked their story.
This was my second time “reading” the story and this time it was the audiobook version that I had. I really liked it, the narration was good and consistent. And the male narrator really had the growly grizzly voice down.

Great Shifter Romance

This is the 2nd book in the “Highest Bidder Series”. This is a fast paced easy quick read that is entertaining, drama filled with an awesome plot. Dylan is a big grizzly bear in need of a mate and if doesn’t find a mate his bear will have to be put down and that means Dylan will have to die. Dylan goes to an auction in hopes of finding a mate and he is totally awed when he scents his mate Lucy.

Will Lucy be enough to keep Dylan and his bear alive, how will Lucy feel when she finds out that Dylan is her fated mated?

A shifter on his way to becoming feral, unless he can find his mate.

As always with Olivia’s books, this book is sweet and dirty! A perfect cloudy rainy Sunday book.

Auctioned To The Grizzly Shifter!

This is a short and quick stand alone read in the "Highest Bidder" series. It is such a fun read that is steamy and a touch over the top. I actually listened to the story and thought the narrator did a really good job bringing the story and characters to life. The story is about Dylan and Lucy. The story is a shifter romance about fated mates and an auction featuring a virgin lady. The story starts with Dylan at a wedding and about to loose himself to his bear. His bear is about to take over his life and he desperate for his mate. It is suggested that he seeks someone temporarily to fulfill his bears needs. Lucy has lost everything and only goes to the auction because it is a last resort. Dylan is also there out of desperation but then he smells something that calls to his bear. He knows immediately win she steps on the stage; HIS. What happens when his bear comes forward? I enjoyed this entertaining and action packed story.

Explosion of Awesomeness!

Auctioned to the Grizzly Shifter is a steamy, intense fated-mates love story with riveting characters. I love how author OTT builds each main character’s backstory and they come together by chance in an explosion of chemistry. The book has a brilliant balance of action, emotion, and steamy intimacy.

The narrators bring each character’s perspective to life on a whole new level with their sexy voices and emotion-laden performances, so that we as the listeners feel like we are in the story.

This is a great short story that is well worth listening to!

Loved It!

I loved this book. I read several others in this series, but I didn't read this one, and this was my first audiobook from this series as well. Great world building. I really got a good sense of who the characters were. Both Lucy and Dylan were dealing with a lot- though with Dylan's bear out of control and practically feral, he was in considerable more danger as he would be put down if his bear couldn't be contained. But I hated what Lucy went through and my biggest regret was that with all that she lost, she had no recourse or justice against her landlord, for all that he had cost her. I loved the chemistry between Dylan and Lucy.

This audiobook was dual narrated by Tor Thom and Fiona Clare. Fiona's voice suited Lucy. But I was blown away by Tor's performance of Dylan. Tor has such a wonderful deep sexy voice and perfectly captured the gruffness and animalistic tones you would expect from a big alpha male shifter. My only regret is that though this book was dual narrated, both narrators read EVERY voice in their chapter. Fiona couldn't get anywhere near the deep voice needed for Dylan, and Tor could lighten his voice for Lucy, but it was unsatisfying. I don't think it would have been much extra work to give the narrator's their character's lines that were in the other character's chapters. It seemed so silly not to, especially since Tor and Fiona have clearly very different voices. It's not like this was a long book.
