Frank Ballaro, police detective, is retiring shortly. Or is he?

A trail of blood on the curb outside his apartment leads to an alley where two young men have been severely mutilated. But they're not dead. Something keeps them alive. In the hands of one is a strange object, something he holds on to for dear life. Something he calls...atmosphere.

What did you love best about Atmosphere?

The plot didn't clarify itself until well into the story, and it had enough twists and nuance to keep the listener fully engaged.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Atmosphere?

The nightclub scenes were remarkable in their gruesomeness, weirdness and just outright creativity.

Which character – as performed by George Kuch – was your favorite?

The bad guys were well written, but our detective hero was rather cool for his outright coolness under very stressful circumstances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Can't but I did fire through it notwithstanding.

Any additional comments?

This is a unique, at times graphic, intense, sci fi/horror/detective story. Nothing quite like it has come along in awhile. I recommend it with all those circumstances understood.
