Great Time Traveling Series!

Atlic by Sophie Davis is part of the Timewave series.
Stassi is back home from her ordeal in Paris with more questions than she had before. This is definitely a fun time travel series. The plot twists and action keep you guessing and wanting more. The audio is well narrated and enjoyable to listen to also.

Futuristic heist

After the events of the first book in 1925 France, back in 2465, Stassi and her friends are now part of the Syndicate’s first quad team, with Gaige, Molly, and Charles. To test their team’s capabilities, and Charle’s ability to blend into an unfamiliar environment, they are set up on a mission in their own time. This book seems more intended to establish them as a team, to show how things are in their current time, and develop their relationships a bit more. It definitely grounds the reader more in what they’re doing for the Syndicate, while giving an interesting look into a very futuristic society. There are some really interesting “historical” events outlined, adding even more to the overall engaging aspects of the story. We also continue to get more tidbits on the mysterious locket and pocket watch, and more questions about Stassi’s past. It was an enjoyable story, and a solid continuation of the series.

Audiobook note - this is a different narrator from the first book, and it is a VAST improvement. This is a much better voice for Stassi, and she does a very good job with the other characters as well. I’m glad I kept going with the audiobooks, because it was definitely more enjoyable than with the first book.

Fun, adventurous with cute friendships

In ATLIC, we get to see Stassis present day, the post apocalyptic world with its advanced tech as well as a dive into Atlic industries history.
I enjoyed the present day mission the quad were assigned with, with high stakes and oceans eleven-esqu vibe. Plus, Stassi had to confront a ghost from the was to complete this task and we got see where Stassi comes from as she sorts it through, and that added added more dimensions to our MC.


Gage, and Molly are treat to have around they are funny and they keep Stassi in check. We got more of Molly and Stassi relationships in this sequel and it was nice to see the depth of their friendship.


Overall, pretty enjoyable but I would have liked a little more resolution of either Charles/Cyrus history /Necklace mystery.

A fun story full of adventure and mystery!

Really great story line! I love that this series is filled with mystery and adventure. I'm still trying to see if I can piece together the mystery behind the locket, pocket watch, and cuff links. I love that banter between the characters in the story and I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released on Audible.

An Adventure Awaits!

Atlic by Sophie Davis and narrated by Alison Schonhoff is the second book in the Timewave Series. The narrator is amazing with her ability to give different voices and demeanor to each character, based on how the author has written them. THIS is an excellent pairing that I am hoping to see much more of in the future.
Stassi, our FMC comes out of the vortex with more than her partner. Charles convinces Cyrus to let him stay in 2464, and become a runner. Cyrus also decides to expand the partnership of Stassi and Gage, to a quad, including Molly, Stassi's best friend and roommate and Charles, the stowaway and the man who is stealing Stassi's heart. This book keeps us in the "present", and is the first run of the quad. But, as with everything surrounding Stassi, something goes very wrong, and someone from her past shows up. Finding herself in a sealed box, Stassi is moved out of harms way, while she is losing oxygen. She also rescues the person from her past, even though Molly says she isn't worth saving. At the end , everyone is back on the island, waiting for the next shoe to drop. Which drops with a carryover from book one.
Would I listen to this book again? YES
Would I recommend this book to others? YES, along with the entire series so far released on audio.
I highly recommend this book/series to anyone who likes history and the twists an extraordinary author can write, and an amazingly talented narrator can bring to life.

Time Travel Continues

I really love time travel books and i have been dying to see what happens next with Stassi and her friends. This is not at all what i expected as there was very little time travel in this story. But, I did not miss the time travel since this story takes place so far in the future. Stassi and her friends team up for another mission and things get a lot out of hand. The submission of finding out about Stassi's family makes some progress but also, there are so many more questions.

This was a great Book 2 and i am impatiently waiting for Book 3. As always. the narration is awesome!

Omgaaahhh

What a hook to end the book with!! Gosh this book brought back so many old memories for Stassi. I highly recommend that you also read/listen to the prequel so you can get a better understanding of Stassi’s past. You don’t have too but it’s connected to what happens in this book and I prefer to know the history. I was happy to see a certain guy in this book and I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
The narrator was fabulous. She has Stassi’s voice and she did great portraying the other characters. I received a free copy of this title in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this fantasy series! To be able to travel through time! Hope thier is a 3rd book! Narrator was good!
