THE STORY

Amid all the grief and confusion, some hopeful souls believe the war to be over and an era of renewal just ahead. But wiser heads know that this war can never end, and that the only question remaining is who shall rise to power within the perilous new age, and who shall fall.

Politics politics and I love it love it

It’s an amazing start and I hope it continues this quality for a million books.

Shadows of the far future in sight.

I despise Guilliman, but these high lords and mechanicum priests even more for their arrogance. I am surprised though that Perturabo was still in system.

I will have to wait now, will Perturabo succeed where the lesser Primarchs failed, or will BL & GW shaft anything interesting for their precious status quo?

Black Library has upped their game

Loved the story. GW novels have really excelled as of late. Also did NOT disappoint on the BOOMS :) I mean seriously just have this guy narrate all 30k40k novels

the Beginning of the End

I was not expecting much from the scouring series but this is so well written and interesting I can't wait to see what happens next. The Iron Warrior angle is particularly interesting and seeing a fresh perspective on events we've only heard about in the lore is so enticing.

Wraight is the Master of (writing) Terra

Nobody does the politics of the imperium better. Add Ashes of the Imperium to the abundance of evidence that few BL writers tell a more compelling story than Chris Wraight.
