Amazing!

As per usual, a great performance by Steve!

Story line was really interesting, well paced Imo and always keeps you guessing.
For those who dislike it, there is a lot of suggestive writing done here, and it's done expertly, great execution! If you don't like to guess and figure things on your own, go on to the next book, for those who love books with a high level of sophistication, this is it!

Waiting anxiously for book 2 on audio!

dragged me in and didn't let go

finished it in less than 24 hours...
couldn't put it down...
compelling world, great characters and wonderful story...
the MC is a little OP, but you will find out why...

Steve is a one man band of narration except he is actually a natural genius of each one...
Being able to recognise a character by voice alone hours after he was last in a scenario is truly amazing

Knocks it out of the park!

Spoiler: I love all of Terry's books. Having said that, I want to say that Ascension is my favorite of them all.

I read this book some time ago, but had to snap it up as soon as I found it was available on audio.

Leo, our hero, is a great character. He's always two steps ahead of everyone, including me as the reader.

No spoilers from me, except to say, I loved it.

An interesting listen

This book is full of twists and turns the whole way though and was a very enjoyable ride. The author does a good job of showing the rise of the main character from a beggar to much, much more while still maintaining an interesting and compelling main character. The narration is very good and I have no real complaints about it. I am looking forward to book 2 and will definitely listen to it.

Amazing story from start to finish

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I was captivated by complexity of the characters and found myself cheering for the hero, and on the edge of my seat when things weren't going well. Terry is an incredible talent and I pray he continues with many more books in this series!
