Publisher's summary

Finding Atlantis is just the beginning...

Psychic ex-spy Mira Raiden's discovery of the tomb of an Atlantean king is just the first piece in a puzzle that will launch her on a journey to find the Trinity - an ancient device with the power to remake the world.

But Mira is not alone in her search for the Trinity. Arrayed against her is an unholy alliance of evil: a team of brutish mercenaries; the beautiful but deadly daughter of Mira's former mentor; a manipulative grave robber, risen from the dead; and the heirs of the greatest evil the world has ever known.

To find the Trinity and prevent the awakening of a horror beyond comprehension, Mira will travel to the ends of the Earth, and into the darkest corners of a world that existed before history.

Excellent

An excellent mix of adventure, action and the supernatural. It is great to see the lead character, Mira, such a strong female. I couldn't stop listening. I am definitely looking forward to the next instalment. Give it a listen, you won't be sorry.
This was the first time I had listened to anything narrated by Jeffrey S. Fellin and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had read the book before but the narration really takes it to a whole new level. I will be keeping an eye out for more of his work.

Narrator SUUUUUCKS!!!

If you have ever had to watch a training video at work then imagine listening to almost 12 hours of that droning unenthusiastic voice reading a book. From what I do remember of the story it seems half decent but lost I interest and zoned out so many times simply because of the narrators performance.

In Your Face Action Book

This is an undiscovered gem that is packed with action and intrigue. The main character is a woman who is a combination of Scot Harvath (from the Brad Thor books) and Indiana Jones (from the movies). No one wants to get on this lady’s bad side. She fights her way across South America, New York City and the Himalayan Mountains.

While classified as a Mystery/Thriller/Suspense, I also enjoyed the book’s paranormal elements. Importantly, “Ascendant” is primarily intended for entertainment and listeners should leave their expectations for reality at home.
