Frank lived for his three sons, busting his back to see they thrived in comfort. His good-for-nothing wife, she made him the happiest man in the world when she finally agreed to his divorce terms. His glorious day turned to ruin when an explosion hurled him through an unformed portal connection.

Lost to eternity and stuck in the void, a happenstance encounter allows him to relocate to the fantasy world of Dorbin. There's a drawback to Dorbin. Even the national militaries turn a blind eye to the atrocities, only enforcing the laws when they see fit.

The designer of Dorbin calls themselves the Creator. The Creator established a system of kiosks for trading, point tracking, and quest rewards. The being is all-powerful and incredibly uncaring, and yet, they gave him a second chance. He arrives marred from the explosion, unable to speak the local language, and about infinitely cleaner than anyone else on the planet.

The challenges for Frank will be steep, the learning curve arduous, and the chances of going home slim to none. It doesn't take long for Frank to realize there's no place in Dorbin for the weak or the meek. If he wants to survive, he will have to earn it, and the ends sure as hell justify the means; especially when he selects to become an arena manager—a dominus of the pits.

Warning: This book is set in a brutal fantasy world that predates modern society's values. It contains violence, gore, slavery, and other grimdark traits, along with fantastical beings and LitRPG elements. Think Game of Thrones with bloody gladiator fighting, mercenary teambuilding, and set from one man's perspective. If you don't have the stomach for such content, have a nice day. If you want action, violence, and to be entertained, welcome to Team Zeppelin.

Well worth your time and money

This is the first book that I have, for lack of a better descriptor, consumed from this author. The writing appears to be top notch in my opinion. I was hooked after only one hour. The narration team is relatively new to me, but I think they did a fantastic job. When it comes to trilogy's I don't really talk about the books as the story is in comparison to a series too short to get into any kind of detail. So, suffice it to say I've enjoyed the story and I will definitely be looking at what else this author has to offer. Our hero is a recently divorced father on his way to his new girlfriend when there is a transporter accident. He winds up in some kind of stream where a deity not of earth tries to smite him and when that deity is unable to do so sends him on to another world. Unlike other portal adventures our hero is healed but crippled from his death and does not automatically speak the local language. The world he's in is brutal in the sense that there are crimes against humanity and violent crimes against persons that are in this world a normal part of the social fabric. Our hero takes some much-needed items off of a dead woman floating in the local river. He then comes across and assists a mother and her daughter. The mother is deathly ill and nobody in the surrounding area would help her. He does and in exchange she assists him in assimilating to the new world he finds himself in. He is an arena manager for his class and as such will be buying fantasy race slaves to fight in a Roman style gladiatorial arena. Well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing the story to us the audible listeners.

This book is fantastic. No drawn out intro into the isekai, just boom you are isekaied now what. The Narrators do an excellent job.

This series is an excellent addition to the genre, also it was so refreshing to see a truly unique system and overall storyline. The performance was also very good. I can’t wait for more from this author.

Great value for the credit, but more than that i just liked the book overall.

Loved the book and the story teller would and will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family interested in this genre of books it was very captivating I love Frank and his adventures

Fantastic Series

This was an amazing series from beginning to end. The story evolution kept me wanting to know more at all times.

Excellent narration duo. The narrators did an amazing job with all the characters and really kept the story moving.

overall pretty good

its a pretty solid story. my complaint is the romance/ love triangles are a bit not my style. get into the erotic category at times. ending is a bit rushed but u get 3 books.for one credit. cant beat that

Great storyline

Pick this one up for sure. Many hours of enjoyment.
Lots of action and fun. Narrators did a great job with all the characters.

Decent series

The ending of two and three (ultimately the final) felt like it was rushed, but overall it was pretty decent and different from the rest of the isekai/harem style books. No overdrawn audio porn but lots of adult humor was the most refreshing portion of it.

Overall a very decent listen for the above teen group and yet too much fun for the choir group without the physically impossible and mythical teenager fantasy sex scenes.
