Publisher's Summary

Many of us have been told that we will be "raptured out of here before the Antichrist arrives". But what if this is wrong? Is this really what the Bible teaches?

In this thought-provoking and freshly examined account on the second coming of Christ, Alan Kurschner traces the key topics and passages, providing compelling biblical evidence that the church will first encounter the Antichrist's great tribulation before Christ returns to rapture his people and judge the world.

Jesus warns us, "Remember, I have told you ahead of time" (Matt. 24:25). And Paul cautions us, "Let no one, in any way, deceive you, for that day will not arrive until the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness [Antichrist] is revealed, the son of destruction." (2 Thess. 2:3).

Since Jesus and Paul ominously warn us "ahead of time", should this not be an urgent message the church needs to hear? Are we spiritually preparing our hearts to be "overcomers" for what may soon come to pass?

Some of the topics covered in this audiobook include:

  • The Antichrist's great tribulation
  • Revelation of the Antichrist
  • Pre-wrath rapture of God's people
  • Celestial disturbance event
  • Sixth seal signals wrath
  • Where do believers go after the rapture?
  • Four reasons the rapture is in Matthew 24:31
  • The day of the Lord that Jesus knew
  • Seventh seal pronounces wrath
  • Trumpets and bowls judgments
  • Battle of Armageddon
  • Structure of the Book of Revelation

Kurschner also engages his end-time, pre-wrath perspective with other prophecy positions such as pre-tribulationism and post-tribulationism. Alan E. Kurschner, PhD, is dedicated to the mission of proclaiming the gospel message of the Christian faith with the hope and promise of the second coming of Jesus.

Dr. Kurschner teaches eschatology from a futurist, premillennial, and pre-wrath perspective. He is also the host of the popular podcast The Biblical Prophecy Program™.

The Author is deceived

The author is using multiple bible translations and has clearly been decieved by the translations... He states the first chapter that Daniel 9:27 is referring to the Antichrist but this scripture clearly is talking about the True Christ, Jesus, the Messiah. verses 25 and 26 literally say the Messiah.. to think 27 switches to talking about the antichrist is not only false its just BAD dividing the word. How can you teach anyone about the antichrist when you can't even tell when the bible is talking about the true Christ.

Plain Exposition of a Complex Subject-Matter

The organization leads one easily through the maze. It will be exceedingly helpful to the Lord's cause in the understanding of prophetic truth. Well written!

a bit painful but I got through it

The content is great. The format and narration probably doesn't do it any favours. this is probably better as a hardcopy or Kindle because of all the charts mentioned. but as a teaching it's a good to get your head around it and compare it to pre trib. scriptural support for pre wrath is very strong. recommend though it may take a while to get through because it can be so mono tone and bland.
