The riveting story of Aruna, a young girl, forced to leave her country of birth, India, move to Malaysia, to marry a total stranger, a union arranged by her family without her knowledge or consent. She is devastated and unable to come to terms with the proposal. How could she leave her family, friends, not to mention her beloved, India, to migrate to a foreign land? However, when she meets the groom, Goku, she realizes that the emotional turmoil she is experiencing affects him just the same.
