Nice and bleak...

This book is nice and bleak, and it reminded me of the Mars Room (which I loved). It comes across as fairly realistic and is a real headlong dive into the psyche of a complicated girl who seems to make one bad decision after another. Well written with a nice flow... this is a good read as long as you're not the type of person who requires a happy ending. The narrator was excellent and perfect for this story. She had this very subtle way of taking a deep inhale during particularly painful descriptions within the story that made it seem as if the story was 100% true and the listener was hearing it told straight from the horse's mouth. I would certainly read more of Elle Nash and Kasi Hollowell's work, based on this experience. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Such a beautiful, fucked up, erotic, crazy book. Get this if you want your socks to be blown off. Elle Nash and Kasi Hollowell rock.

A hell of a book!

This one really got to me. Very intense, gripping, and twisted in the best possible way. The narrator was amazing! *****

Wow! Just Wow! Sometimes I like to delve in to something a little out of my norm and more like real life….. this one was amazing!
‘What it means to be chosen first is different, under the arms of someone close to the ribs right up next to the chest but not in the heart’ this one kicked me so hard in the heart…. I felt it skip a beat.
Heart felt in its rawness and utter real mess. The self destruction of the not so innocent young. The need for validation and the want for something you can’t find or find it in you to give.
I loved every second of this story. In her need for more, just more of anything I too find myself wanting more by this author and more from this story of this girl who can’t find herself.
Narration by Kasi Hollowell was outstanding! I would definitely want to hear more by her.

Absolutely stunning

I can't wait for Elle Nash to release something else soon. This was so good. I loved Kasi Kollowell's performance. Everything was perfect. Sexy and dark. Holy moly.

a story exploring how evil people think

following a girl in a weird satanic sex cult following thean of the house it shows how living only for yourself, manipulating others at all times and hedonism just ruins your life, deservedly so. I heard it best put once, "those who follow the rules of earth to kill, steal, and manipulate, truly deserve to live on the planet we all hate"

my complaints is it's a hour too long and the wording is a bit annoying at times with how often they go into flashback or describe pointless things.

kinda like American psycho but without the reason behind the pointlessness and with a satanic twist
