Great Ending to a great series

Would you listen to Angels Twice Descending again? Why?

Absolutely will be listening again, likely within the week! The resolution to the the Simon Lewis story line is compelling. Clearly one of the fans favorite characters and one of mine as well. This is clearly an example of the improvement in the story and writing as this series progresses.

What did you like best about this story?

Without spoilers, this ending had me in tears. Compelling and gripping, the story brings the reader into the decision to embrace or reject the Mortal Cup and the risk of ascension.

Which character – as performed by Brett Dalton – was your favorite?

SImon, Simon, Simon. This story focuses on Simon and this is the focus of his talent. But maybe, just maybe the nuanced accent of Simon's jewish mother put a bit of smile on my face as well.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Consequence of Responsibility. Paying the price for making choices that count.

Any additional comments?

A must read if you have come this far in the series and the series is a must read if you love the Shadowhunter story line.

...

Well. That ending was incredibly upsetting. I should've known that death would be coming. They were too lovable and likable of a character. :(. I'm very sad.

Good series for sure. But beyond upsetting in the end. Clare's reminder to us that the Shadowhunters can be a very cruel race.

Oh my! My heart! It felt so much! I smiled and I cried! The narrator did a great job expressing emotion.

So good, but so sad

I knew George was not going to make it. It still made me cry. This is the beauty of Cassandra Clare. You can sometimes see it coming, but the ride is always worth it.

Loved this series

I'm so glad she wrote a follow up series about Simon. When he lost his memories I cried, this last book got to me too.

Torn

In a lot of ways this was a really nice ending to the series and satisfying, but I feel like the loss at the end could have been easily avoided and was quite unnecessary.
