Maeve was alone in the world now and wasn't sure what she should do. She took a job waiting tables and cleaning the dining room and happened to find a newspaper clipping that was advertising for mail order brides in a town called Blizzard in the United States.

While reading the ad, she happened to see a faint green shimmer glowing from her shamrock necklace. The more she thought about the ad, a sense of peace came over her and a warmth of courage spread from her head to her toes. She decided this was the path she should take and made arrangements immediately to go to the United States to settle in the town called Blizzard.
