This book, the 46th of Stan’s career, tells about the exciting adventure they had in the enchanting nation of Costa Rica. That was courtesy of their long-time friends Larry and Linda Seng. Back in 2017, they were living in Costa Rica several months of each year. The rest of the time they lived in Oklahoma City, OK and worked in the oil industry.

Stan and Peggy were guests of the Sengs at their home in La Garita. They were kind enough to act as chauffeurs and guides. The Sengs took them to such interesting towns as San José (the Capital city), Alajuela, San Ramón, Monteverde, Atenas, Jaco, and many more. They saw the natural beauty of the rolling hills, the steep mountains, waterfalls, and rivers. Plus, the creative work of craftsmen, home builders, coffee and banana farmers, painters, sculptors, and cooks and chefs who delighted their taste buds with delicious Costa Rican meals.

The book includes 131 photos and many maps and graphics. The hardback version and the eBook version have mostly full color photos. The paperback version has the same photos and graphics but in B & W to hold down the price Each chapter is filled with photos and information, but perhaps the most important is Chapter 2 titled, “Important Stuff .” Read it before you actually make a trip to this beautiful country and their friendly people.
