A thriller and romance in one!

I really enjoyed this story and narration. It had so much going on, which is great for appealing to all kinds of readers, or readers like myself who enjoy very different genres. A small town physician and her dog, a steamy US Marshal, and a murderer on the loose made for a high action story, romance included! A perfect blend! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Interestingly different .

I was rewarded with this free audiobook in return for my honest unbiased review . I thought a FBI agent & a doctor would not work with the mystery & intrigue involved in this book , but it did . I found this audio book moved at a great pace & I had a problem in stopping my listening to do other things . Not being sure what is going to happen is a highlight of this story , so many plots you can see the ending , but not in this book . I found the narrator , Ella Lynch to be very easy to listen to & hopefully she does more books like this .

Ok story but didn't think the narrator fit

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. So, I will start off by saying this was a decent story. It has a good balance of action and romance. The characters are somewhat interesting. The narrator, though good, is not the right fit for the story to me. With her proper brit accent, I just couldn't see that fitting a story set in Southern California. Especially with the main character being a US Marshal... For me that just didn't work.

GOOD BOOK!

I enjoyed this book. This book was full of action, suspense, romance and mystery. The narration was good and kept you entertained. This author did a great job with the characters and plot. Always in My Heart

I really enjoyed this book and narration. It was fast paced, and full of action and suspense. I loved the dynamic of the US Marshal with the DR. I think it's the first time ive seen that in a book and I loved the set up. The narration by Ella Lynch was well done but the accent did throw me at first. #AudiobookObsession 🎧AudiobookReviewer

Action and Romance

This was my first M. Claire Gager's book. The characters are great. The storyline has mystery, action, suspense, and romance. Ella Lynch is a new narrator to me. She did a good job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

highly enjoyable story

I had fun listening to this story. I enjoyed the author's writing and look forward to more from her. I found the story engaging and was able to lose myself in the story until the end. Suspenseful love story!!

I loved Jo and Gabriel! I love the love they have! This book had me in my toes throughout the entire story!

A Us Marshall is tracking an escaped convict in the woods of California. The convict shoots him thinking he was dead. The smalltown doctor, finds him hurt badly along with her dog , when out for a walk. So the adventure begins. The manhunt for the convict continues without the injured Marshall. The longer he stays with ,her, the more he finds out about her, their tragic pasts are similar. This is a story of trust, finding forgiveness, letting go of revenge, and finding love only to let go. The story is action packed. Ella Lynch narration , surprised me at first, her British accent is used for a story based in the US. but as the story progressed, I didn't mind it at all. Narrator enlivens novel

Cowboy Marshall gets shot up and is fully healed by his shy but passionate doctor. The storyline dragged a little but the erotica made it more interesting. Loved the silken, crisp narration by Ella Lynch.

My take on an erotic novel

Disclaimer: not the usual kind of book I read/listen to, but on a recommendation I chose to listen to it. I found the story behind the romance to be interesting and more fleshed out than I expected and was drawn in by the main character and his past. However I did find the romance scenes to be poorly written with a smattering of "unique" words. However the narration was superb, I loved the British accent and superb diction, I also enjoyed the different voices for each character which really immersed me in the story.

Thrilling and romantic.

As it is not generally my chosen genre this was my first listen of a romantic audio book and I was not disappointed! The storyline is thrilling and descriptive, with heartwarmingly humorous and heartfelt moments. The narrator is clear, characterful and a pleasure to listen to.

Not a bad storyline made better by the narration by Ella Lynch whose clear and expressive voice really made the book flow.

Ms Lynch certainly has a way with words . Overall this would make a good holiday book to pack in your suitcase .but equally as good to listen to.
