When good intentions risk true love!!

Matthais is strong, intelligent but all untamed bear inside. He has barely kept control since finding out teenage Maisy was his true fated mate. He wants her to experience life and make choice for herself. But what he failed to understand is that she is older now and how deeply her feelings for go for him. Loved watching him go all protective alpha when she is in danger and their chemistry is explosive. Renee and Lee never disappoint, this is another exceptional addition to the series.

Wen and Kai absolutely rocked the narration of Maisy and Matthias. The innocence and vibrancy of Maisy bounced through and the grumbly alpha of Matthias was perfection.

Something pretty special

Matthias and Maisy's story is an angsty, emotional, funny, spicy, sweet and action-packed romance that had me falling head over heels really hard and feeling all the feels. It had me in complete awe over Matthias' desire to do right by Maisy and having me wanting to shake him good and tell him enough is enough because "Dude, it's fated! lol All kidding aside though, I thought these two were pretty special and I loved that they made each other better versions of themselves. This book was very easy to listen to and the narrators both gave an engaging and entertaining performance that brought theis romance to life beautifully.

Humor on point!

Masiy, the heroin, is hilarious! She is making this book so entertaining. I’m not done listening, but had to do a review on that 🤪. Now, I have to go by more book of Renée and Lees, they are so good to listen too!

It’s not just biological

It figures Dr. Stark would describe being a mate too scientifically! I love how the bears are more tactile with their mates than the wolves(the wolves possession is still it for me), just like teddy bears. Maisie’s growth as an adult is moving especially considering what a tough start she had in life. Again I just love the blending in of the previous books characters woven into this series. I just can’t wait to see in the coming books who the other brother’s mates are, especially the triplets!! Those kilt wearing guys are hilarious. This is another must read from Renee and Lee, please keep these sweet and spicy book boyfriends coming!

Swoony Bedtime Treat

I read this book first and then listened to the audiobook. It was even more delicious read out loud. It was my evening unwind treat. But I’m really, REALLY going to need Everest’s story. I fear I’m already in love with him.
