Before I'd even enrolled, I was warned about them: The four Alpha Gods that ruled the school. They could get away with anything- even murder.
All I had to do was avoid them and I'd be able to get my brother the life-saving treatments my enrollment at this school provided.

My plan worked for all of one day, until Julian, the leader of the Alpha Gods, targeted my best friend. I knew the consequences of stopping his twisted game, but I'd always stood up for Rue, and old habits die hard. I grabbed the dogfood before Rue could be forced to eat it, and shoved it into Julian's mouth.
Now, I'm their target, and if I'm going to stay in this school, I'm going to have to figure out a way to endure the leader's cruel whims—even if it means dressing as a dog for his amusement.
There's no way I'll let them break me.

Great story but....
I have read the 3 books in this series. I Love the story, but HATE with a capital H the virtual narrator. I would rather listen to the worst human voice out there then this flat unemotional voice. Please stop using this. Can't wait for more of this story! Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with the world!

Great story line. Wish the narrator was live.
This book would get a 5 star if it had a narrator with emotions and changing voices for the different characters. I hope as this book gets more views they’ll consider getting a live narrator.
