A book about addiction without sermons

This book was on my TBR list since the moment it came out, but when my best friend, book club leader, and a writer herself told me that it was a must, I immediately went to it. And boy, oh boy. I want every single person who I love to read this book, including my young adult kids, my nephews, my nieces and my mom. For all of us who have struggled with addiction or with an addict, this, indeed, is a must read.
