Publisher's summary

It took months for me to trust that Rachel - the imaginary “friend” who’d hurt me as a child - was gone, years to convince myself I was just a sick kid with an overactive imagination.

But I finally did it. I pulled it together, got well, and I never looked back.
On the day our school bus is knocked off an overpass, I’m just an average teen obsessed with becoming a professional dancer.

Now, suddenly my childhood tormentor is back and I’m on the run from Rachel and men-in-black types who want me dead.

But this time I’m not alone. Jessie, the scariest misfit at my school, has an invisible tormentor too. But it turns out Jessie’s not so scary. He’s kind, brave, and as committed as I am to keeping us both alive.

Together, I hope we can figure out why this is happening. I never dream our investigation will lead back to the hospital where Rachel first appeared or to dark secrets that give us both even more reasons to be afraid.

A Thrilling Adventure

All the Reasons to Be Afraid is an exciting, thrilling adventure! There was never a dull moment as Dani and Jesse fought for their lives, searched for answers, and grew closer. I’m a total wimp when it comes to scary stories, but this is more thriller than horror, which I appreciated. This was a hard book to put down. Even after the credits rolled, I didn’t want it to end.

My new favorite book!

Do you know all the reasons to be afraid? I can promise you don't. And you've never read a story like this one, either!

Everything in this book was unexpected, unpredictable, and AMAZING. Block off the time you need, because you won't want to put it down.

This is a non-stop, suspenseful adventure that happens in about the span of ONE DAY.

I immediately wanted more, and then wanted to re-read it after I finished.

If you like suspense, thrillers, fated love, and an action-packed book, this one is for you!

Emma Ashton and Jason Clarke are two of my favorite narrators! They do an awesome job on this book, as always.

Can’t Wait!!

Loved the plot line of this book, although I’m already waiting for the next! Jason Clarke was awesome - as always - and I enjoyed Emma’s narration, too.

Fast-paced and lots of twists and turns

Wow - what a wild adventure! All the Reasons to be Afraid is a YA paranormal action adventure with so many twists and turns that will keep you guessing from the first page to the last.

Dani and Jesse aren't friends, but they are bonded by a horrific bus accident on a school trip. As they try to piece together what is happening around them, they find out that their bond goes much deeper than that.

Throughout this novel, Dani and Jesse are learning not only who they are, but they are learning to trust and to love each other as well. The events all moved very quickly, and this just really kept me on my toes, engaged and interested.

The audio narrated by Jason Clarke and Emma Ashton was so good. They really captured the emotion of the story and the angst of the main characters.

Suspenseful and amazing story!

“All The Reasons To Be Afraid” is a wild ride of ‘what could possibly happen next?”. It starts off as a normal YA book but quickly adds in some paranormal elements that makes the story an action pack adventure that I could not put down.

Dani is in high school and a dancer at her all girl’s school. On a combined trip with the all boy’s school, she meets Jesse. The two sit next to each other on the bus until the bus gets into a horrific accident. Dani and Jesse are hurt but are able to get away. The two have a connection in their past that they didn’t know about until the events that come to light from that day.

I really enjoyed this book. While it’s categorized as a YA novel, it’s actionpacked and kept my interest from the beginning to the very last sentence. Dani and Jesse grew so much throughout the story even though the time frame of the story was a very short period of time. The paranormal factor added so much to the story which I enjoyed so much. It was new and different for me and it worked so well. The ending was perfect and I really hope we get a part two. It wraps up the story but leaves a little bit of room for a possible second book.

Emma Ashton and Jason Clarke were wonderful narrator choices for the audiobook. They brought all of the action and emotions that made the story come to life even more.
