I take back what I said about the First book, but the second book changed my mind.

Really Liked It

I really enjoyed the book. Didn’t really care for Reeve’s narrator, but it wasn’t off putting. Very good story with lots of twists and turns. Kept you wanting more.

Wow! Siobhan's very best work!

I don't think I've ever cried harder in a book. What an EPIC duo! The dual narration was superb, the storyline was captivating, I was emotionally invested for every word. I'm obsessive about her books, they are so dramatic and triggering and I love it. Her best work to date. (And that saying alot because all her books are perfection).

I think I just got off the most amazing roller coaster!

Wow! This trilogy is definitely a top three for me. I absolutely refuse to give away any spoilers, but I will say there were at least three twists that blew me away and that is not an easy thing to do!

Pure PERFECTION—a must-read!!!

I finished this second book in this amazing duet about an hour ago, and I had to compose myself before writing this review because I am still sobbing. I’m in complete mourning over its end. Very, very rarely do I finish a book and immediately want to reread it, but this is one of those extraordinary gems. This duet gutted me—it will forever remain in my heart, and at the top of my shelf to be revisited often, and it will always be on the tip of my tongue when I’m asked for a phenomenal book recommendation.

There are no words for this beautiful emotional roller coaster. It’s as much of a must-read as Pride and Prejudice or Gone with the Wind. It’s just pure perfection. There is so much I can say, but I don’t want to include spoilers—this is a duet that you must go into completely blind!

After reading the first book (without any sleep), I was reeling over the tumultuous feelings it put me through. I couldn’t wait for this sequel, and now I honestly can’t tell you which one was better, because the entire duet is incredible.

Just like with the first book, I was taken by surprise too often to count, and even when I thought I was on the home stretch, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Every single emotion imaginable is felt throughout this amazing story, and again, just like the first book, five stars are nowhere near enough for this little literary treasure.

Aside from the story, the writing is superb. The author’s capacity for sympathy and evoking emotion is exquisite. Not only did I hardly find an error (I was an editor before I became an at-home-mom), but the flow, the attention to detail, the research for Ireland and its people, and the fact that there was no stone left unturned throughout—every single tiny detail was accounted for—is unparalleled PERFECTION. I cannot recommend this duet enough, and I cannot wait to delve into more books by Siobhan Davis, as this was my first book/duet by her.

Love this story!!

I read this duet when it first came out and I was so excited to listen to the audio. It took me a while to get used to the narrators as I had imagined their voices differently. The story is what kept me listening and after awhile I liked them more and more.

Beautiful conclusion that left me blubbering mess!

If “Say I’m The One” blew your mind, let me assure you that “Let me Love You” will shock off your socks and set every car alarm within a mile radius beeping. Let me warn listeners to prepare for ups/downs, twists/turns and the heartbreaks that I needed tissues for, several times. Let Me Love You dives right into the complexities of Vivien’s world turn upside down. This final book of the duet surpassed all my hopes from the first book, left me shaken, stirred and the feeling of falling from the sky without a parachute. The emotional roller-coaster the characters experience will have you loving, hating and loving them in succession, while drawing you in and keeping you hostage even when the book is over.

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! If your contemplating spending a credit, DO IT! You will not regret it, if I could give this 2 part series, a 10, I would. Just don’t forget the tissues, I’ve been shocked, angry, happy, sad, really sad, extremely happy! Can you tell I barely finished this book? I’m speechless. It’s that good!! Enjoy!!
