Hilarious

All of me is a well-written, witty, laugh-out-loud funny story; I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our heroine is a big and beautiful phone sex operator that dreams of becoming a radio host. Finally, she gets her big break, and the dream job she always wanted with a swoon-worthy Dirk Sexton as her boss. The only thing is, Dirk's voice sounds really familiar; I think you can guess the rest. Excellent dual narration by Alexander Cendese and Gabrielle Cendese, bringing the characters to life. All of Me was a fabulous listen, I loved the characters and dialogue. I strongly recommend this audiobook.

Fun Rom com!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to listen to the story. The narrators voices were so high pitched and annoying. I turned the recording down one notch and that solved the problem. The narrators contributed to the joy of the story. Andrea Smith has created a funny and emotional love story. Autumn is a strong and sassy young woman that hides her insecurities about her size. Dirk is a one night stand playboy. When they meet there is instant chemistry between them, however Autumn knows a secret about Dirk that could pull them apart. Dirk will have the most changes in his character development. This story will have many laugh out loud moments, some hot sex, and some anxious times. But never fear, you will love the ending.

All of Me

So, so good. This may be my all time favorite audiobook. I already loved the story and the characters, but the narrators were absolutely phenomenal. They truly brought the characters to life.

The truth lies in your alter ego

Sexy, funny, and full of steamy scenes. Autumn has never been the skinny girl. But her late-night-caller-voice is everything she is inside. Sexy, hot and anything you want her to be. And everything Roland (aka Dirk) wants in a woman. Dirk Sexton is sex on legs, owns many radio stations and wants Autumn for his midnight caller show. But Autumn already knows Dirk. Or, at least his voice. She knows his true fantasies, his shallowness, and the fact that he just might have a conscience. But what happens when all the lies are exposed? It only gets HOTTER!!!! Andrea Smith gives us another real-life lesson and all the feels that come with it. All of Me will make you laugh, cringe, and fall in love with Autumn and Dirk. Alexander and Gabrielle Cendese are the perfect duet. Their voices captured the true heart of this story, along with the comedy that will make you LYAO!!

Awesome!

I loved this book!! The story was amazing and I will def be looking for more from this author. The narration was okay but the male narrator definitely might want to change his female tone. Every female sounded like a whiney nasally valley girl.

1+900 📞 Phone Sex BFF’s

Okay, this was a cute and fun listen and a lot of credit goes to Team Cendese, married actors Alexander and Gabrielle Miller. A lot of talent there! Gabrielle pulls off a southern drawl as Autumn portrays Ramona, a 900 sex voice for extra cash. An interesting repeat client who wants nothing more than to talk ends up being her boss, who is dating her sister Summer. There are a lot of laughs and a HEA for everyone. Good Times had by all -LOL I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. My review is HONEST. Two Thumbs UP!  👍🏻👍🏻

Laugh Out Loud

I got funny looks at work because this audiobook would have me laughing out loud. I love how Andrea Smith has a very attuned skill of mixing humor with more serious issues. This book will have you utterly engrossed. This was so much fun to listen to. It also has a really great narration to help pull you in deeper. The only thing this book leaves me wanting is more.

Such a relatable heroine!

4.5 Stars *skip to the Down & Dirty for a quick review* Beware, my review for All of Me by Andrea Smith gets a little personal. Autumn, the heroine of the story, was SO relatable to me, that this romantic comedy actually hit me in the feels more than it was supposed to. As a size 18-20, I love reading about a heavier woman who finds love, but I am often disappointed that I can’t relate to the characters as much as I thought I would. But Autumn was my soul sister. As the youngest of three perfect, gorgeous and skinny sisters and a mom who weighs the same 118 that she did at her wedding 61 years ago, I totally got Autumn. “As much as I preach to myself that I was happy in my own skin, my inner skinny girl was telling me different based on past experience." Her fraternal twin sister Summer is like a Barbie doll, and Autumn has ample curves. She may be uncomfortable in her skin, but she is very confidant in her voice. In fact, she has such a great voice, she works as a phone sex operator. When a new radio show is looking for a talk show host, she goes for it. I know that feeling so well…feeling inferior at something you know you’re good at because of your weight. It’s so rare to find a book that just understands, and All of Me totally did. When Dirk Sexton, the station owner, hires her, one of her selling points was that he wouldn’t think with his d*^k about her; Autumn wasn’t the manwh*re a$$h0le’s type. When he saw her out to lunch with her sister, he went right for the gorgeous one, Summer, and starts dating her even when he realizes he doesn't really like her. Ugh, I so get this. Guys I am into would tell me how gorgeous my sister is all the time. But the more Dirk got to know Autumn... “I wanted to throw her across my lap and spank the sass right out of her.” She was sassy! You never feel sorry for her or anything, you just get her. I was listening to All of Me on my way to my final divorce hearing, and it really just got me emotional because I just related so much. Especially when “Tillie” called in to the show. “Autumn, I just want to say I’ve been where you are ever since I was in grade school. Body shaming by others, including my family was rampant. My own mother had me on every trendy diet ever invented, and it irrevocably damaged my own self-image. Having said that, I think maybe you need to consider the fact that not everyone judges you by your body or your looks. You are so beautiful. Don’t doubt yourself, and don’t doubt those who see the truth. That is all.” I needed that quote so much that I’m printing it out to keep near me. By the way, Dirk (despite his name) won me over in the end and got over his shallow, manwh0re ways. Likes: •One of the most relatable heroines ever. •Made me laugh and cry. •I loved how close the sisters were, despite the physical differences. •Just enough angst to keep it interesting. •A unique storyline. Dislikes: •I didn’t have anything specific story-wise. •I think the cover needs some work. The Narration: The past books I have listened to by Alexander Cendese and especially Gabrielle Cendese I have loved. But I have to be honest here, while I love that Alexander throws himself into the part, I feel he overacted a bit in this performance and it began to get on my nerves. She was great. The Down & Dirty: All of Me by Andrea Smith was one of the few curvy heroine books where I related to the heroine. Many don’t mention the weight enough, many have heroines that rock their curves with confidence, many have the heroine lose weight. But All of Me had a heroine who understood that her weight played a part in every facet of her life and addressed it head-on. I have an obsession with feeling like I don’t fit in because of my size. I love how All of Me by Andrea Smith made me look beyond that in myself, and see that I am more than just my size. Thank you Andrea for that; I just hope it sticks! An hilarious BBW romance

A really quick witted, sweet story… Fast paced and did I mention damn right hilarious. You get so engrossed in each character you never want to the story to end. A pleasure to listen to… I loved the southern drawl of Ramona and really laughed out loud at how this alter ego was revealed!! Narration was really good, though Alexanders female vocal was a little annoying at times.

Sweet and Sassy

A tale which I thoroughly enjoyed, with the exception of when the male narrator took on the female voices, which sounded farcical and really took the edge off the enjoyment, perhaps it was intended as viewed from the male character perspective *shrug*.

So much fun

This book had so much fun and just amazing characters jam packed into them that I found myself spending way too long cleaning my bathroom. But it was either keep cleaning or turn off the book and that just was not an option. So thank you for both the amazing story that had me captivated from the first minute and for the ridiculously clean bathroom.

Enjoyable, light-hearted story!

All of Me was an enjoyable light-hearted romance that I stayed interested in from the beginning through the end. I loved the late-night radio show aspect, too! This is marked as a BBW story, but there were many times I was thinking the character sounded more like she was a little overweight than BBW. The cover of the audio book is definitely not a BBW, but other editions have a different female cover model that is. I'm not a fan of Alexander Cendese's narration, but that's just a personal preference. He gives a great performance, but his enthusiasm reminds me of cartoon characters instead of a sexy male hero, et al. His wife, Gabriella, narrates the female role. Her regular voice is fine but her "other female" voice is so high pitched that it's hard (for me) to listen to. Again, she gives a great performance too, so the narrators should not stop anyone from enjoying the audio version. Thank you to the author who provided me with a free review copy in exchange for an honest review.

Author has talent

The book got four stars because the author has clearly got a talent and the narration was good, though I think the story could have been a solidly great one if she added a bit more to it. The male narrator’s voice might annoy me in some books, but it worked for this one. I hope the author develops her stories a bit more to anchor you more in their lives and take you with the characters on more of a journey as the relationship develops - it went from nothing to dedicated in a big jump but didn’t quite convince me. It was more of a light fluffy read - instead of a great and fun read. Whole load of potential, and still a decent book.
