Enjoyable

Pine Valley, when two opposites meet and attraction for Lindsay and Tyler. It’s all about hockey and she is an attorney. He is recovering from injury, and she of dreams of partnership that failed and now starting over. Good enjoyable story of finding love. Given audio which had good narration for my voluntary review and honest opinion.

Good Pine Valley story

This was another sweet Pine Valley story. It progresses as expected, the characters finding each other through adversity.

The narrator was great. I had just listened to her read "The Flight Girls" so I knew I was in for a treat there.

All in all, a fun audiobook.

Another wonderful Pine Valley Romance

(I listened to this as an audiobook a couple of years after reading the ebook. I loved it both times!)

Story (4.5 stars)

What a big smile I have on my face as I write this review! I have found myself truly enjoying every one of the books in the Pine Valley series.

I love a romance where we live through the beginning, tentative moments of a relationship and continue to watch two people who are perfect for each other continue on a journey of discovery and love.

Nelson’s physical therapy is hilarious! His attempts to watch his language are so cute! He’s a jock, but as we get to know him, we realize there’s much more depth of character than we originally thought. I love how protective he is of Lindsey.

Lindsey is smart and a career woman, but she’s not hardened. She’s sweet and tender and observant. She’s good for Nelson in subtle ways.

I love their flirtatious texts and banter. I also love that they don’t jump into bed simply because they are so attracted to one another.

Narrator: (5 stars)

Xe Sands has a voice like melted chocolate; deep, rich and addictive. Her dialogues (internal and external) are more expressive than any other narrator I've ever listened to: she sighs, groans, hesitates, chuckles, whispers, etc. which makes it feel like you are there rather than being read to by a voice actor.

Fun sports romance

I loved the Pine Valley setting for the story. The mix of a confident hockey star and an independent lawyer made for some funny conversations. All in all, it was a delightful love story.

An unlikely pair

At first, Lindsey and Nelson seem like an unlikely pair. She's a confident lawyer, who prefers stilettos to any other type of shoe. He's a goalie for a hockey team. She's never been on the ice before, and he's used to handle problems the old-fashioned way.

Yet, somehow they fit and their love works. I really enjoyed seeing how it all came together in this fun, clean romance.

Thoroughly Enjoyed It!

This was one of my favorites of the Pine Valley Series. Love the fun banter and great chemistry between Lindsey and Tyler. With Xe Sands narrating your drawn in and don't want it to end. Loved it! Heather B Moore and Sweet Sounds Audio provided me with a copy of this audiobook but I choose to leave a review. The thoughts expressed are my own. I honestly loved it and I recommend it!

An enjoyable series

This is an enjoyable and easy story to listen to 😄 it was lovely to hear about previous characters and to have the story told from two points of view. Clean and wholesome. I can definitely recommend the series.
