Publisher's summary

All bets are off in this heartfelt romance by New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

Happily single, Harper Bishop trusts in only one passion - her rescue farm and healing her thoroughbred, Phoenix. Her dream is to lead him to the Triple Crown. But how unreachable is it without experience or help? A handsome new guest at her family’s B&B has what it takes to make it come true. And with his irresistible brogue, warm smile, and soothing touch, he’s a major distraction.

After a bitter betrayal, horse trainer Aidan O’Connor has fled Ireland for a vacation in New York’s Hudson Valley. When he sees the horse with the fighting spirit, he’s inspired with a new goal: to train Phoenix to win. He’s also facing an unexpected new challenge: his feelings for Harper.

How can she dare to open her heart to a man who’ll be there only long enough to break it?

So Harper and Aidan agree: try to keep it professional, and focus only on Phoenix and the finish line. But along the way, they could also learn a few lessons in love, trust, and taking chances. And, as painful as it promises to be, saying goodbye.

Narrators ruined this book

I was so excited to read the next book in this series, until I started listening to it. The female narrator was horrible at a man’s voice and the Irish accent drove me crazy. I fast forwarded to the last two chapters.

I will watch for these narrators so that I don’t purchase the book. So disappointed

I loved the story! Very good!

I loved the story! The animal rescue just pulls at your heart. I didn't care for the narration, but being book 3 I had to finish the series so I dealt with it.

Narrators not great

Landon’s reading was unenthusiastic and her male voices had them sounding dumb. Her Irish accent for Aidan was distractingly bad as well. Worst was Graybill’s “Irish” accent. Not only was it terrible but whenever his character was thinking thoughts, he performed them in an American accent. Huh? It was too confusing and distracting to really pay attention to the story.

Cute story but narrators were only fair

3rd sibling in series-Harper- the animal rescuer becomes involved with an Irish horse trainer with a past. Lots of build up but a bit slow on action. A sweet romance though with minor drama.

Delightful!

I really enjoyed Harper, Aidan and Phoenix’s story because of the slow burn romance, everything I learned about horse training and racing and the delightful antics of the rescue animals featured in the story. I also enjoyed catching up with the characters from the first two books in the series and the family relationships between Harper, her siblings and their spouses. I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed the narration performances of Amy Landon and Stephen Graybill.

Best in the series!

4.5 Stars!

Harper and Aiden's story is my favorite of the siblings. I found this storyline to be fascinating because I love animals and the focus was on Harper's rescues. I love that Harper is such an advocate for abused animals and that alone had me loving the story. Aiden brought in more excitement with his training of the abused horse Phoenix. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat whenever the races came up because I was rooting for him just as much as these fictional characters. Great book!

Terrible audiobook

I would like to think that the author did not select this person to read her book. If it is even a person at all. The voice sounds like an automated machine. It didn’t matter how much I changed the speed it was terrible! I couldn’t tolerate listening to it. I am very disappointed.

Loved the first 3 books in this series!

All were sweet sexy romances with a little heat. I plan to listen to the next 2!

Great ending

I loved this book, the big downside was the narration I think it was the least convincing Irish accent I've ever heard, despite this the story was great and certainly had me crying emotional tears

Disappointment of All Roads Lead To You

The accents of the narrators were so bad they were trying to speak with Irish brogues !!
Unfortunately could not listen to the audio book they were grating on my ears.Had to abandon it
I loved all the other books that Jennifer Probst has written, great shame.
