political scandal...now that's new!

Easton and Selma couldn't be any more different...they're like night and day, etc. Easton is an attorney, who is on the fast track to become a judge. He has to maintain a clean image. Selma is a bit of a wild one, but the chemistry between these two is off the charts. Will they be able to meet in the middle and have their HEA or will Easton stay on the fast track and leave Selma behind? Another quick read/listen in the series that feature the Man of the Month contest at the Sixth bar.

Easton Wallace (35) is a lawyer, running in the Travis County District Court Judicial election. He made up his mind that he wanted to be an attorney at 13 after his parent's business property was purchased by the government. Selma Harrington (35; aka Jean Rockwell, Bat girl, baby; tattooed ×8) was adopted when her mom abandoned her & her brother when she was 10 & Matthew was 11 in a mall. Selma is the founder of  of Austin Free-Tail Distillery, plans to move to Scotland & sell AFTD. She had previously had a one night stand with Easton then disappeared. Now Selma approached Easton for help with the sale of ATFD when he refused to help she appealed to him again at TFo6 then broke into his backyard. He finally caves and helps her in exchange for a physical relationship with Selma. She reveals her sad childhood, he realizes she doesn't really want to sell AFTD, her adopted dad has a heart attack, her mom sends her a heartfelt message, Selma realizes Easton doesn't really want to be a judge. Selma calls her friend in Scotland and cancels her trip. Selma & Easton get caught in a compromising situation, he blames her, she leaves him, Matthew punched Easton for hurting Selma, Hannah has Easton enter the calendar contest, he wins Selma back with a tattoo to match hers that says "please." They're HFN.
