Loved Scarlet Johansson!

When I first purchased it, I was a little unsure about her performance, but it is truly great. I do believe she would do great reading something a little more adult oriented. Her voice draws you into the book, but the character voices are a little off.

A wonderful read! Listen with or without you children!

For some reason I reviewed this book very badly 6 years ago…I must have been mad as this is a wonderful book to listen to.
SJ brings the characters to life and I could imagine Alice’s world unfolded with her.

fun narration

I thought Scarlett Johanson did an amazing job telling this story and you can tell she had a lot of fun woth it. I was impressed with how many voices she created.

One of my favorite stories. Scarlet does a fantastic job narrating this whimsical story. Definitely recommend this.

don't like the writing

Until now I've never read/heard the original story of Alice in wonderland, I had seen the movies and even though pretty much all of the elements are in place, I just couldn't find myself in the writing style. What kept me listening was the narration. I like Scarlett well enough as an actress, but didn't think she had it in her to do the various voices, but I was sure wrong about that one. Her narration and characterization is top notch. It's easy to know when a different character is talking and het different accents are excellent!
