Here are two fictional short stories of life in the Alaskan Bush. "Frozen" deals with a day in the life of a fur trapper when nothing goes right. He is alone, and far from civilization in extremely cold weather. Hearing this story brought back memories of visiting Alaska. Descriptions of what it takes to live in the cold weather extremes, and of gold fever make me remember what makes Alaska unique.
