Unlistenable
Somebody decided to record themselves reading a book. The narration is bad; the background music is constant, misplaced, and too loud. So much so, that you can't block it out to even enjoy the brilliance of Agatha Christie. I would have exchanged the book had I known that was an option.

Really Distracting Music Throughout
I can’t even listen to this. I don’t mind it read in an American accent but I’m at a loss as to why there is music accompanying the entire reading. And mostly at about the same volume as the narration. I found it really difficult to focus on the story and won’t bother continuing. I wish I could give it zero stars. Thanks for the recommendation, Audible! :(

There is continuous synthesised music under the reading which makes it unbearable to listen to. The sound quality is poor. The narrator reads badly and stumbles frequently. Not of a quality I’d expect on audible

Awful audio
For some reason they have put a music bed underneath the narration which is already muffled. Makes it unbearable. Assuming the music bed is to cover up for the poor recording of the sound. Unlistenable. What is most disappointing is this was a recommendation from Amazon. Don’t bother.

I don’t usually write reviews but have to say this was appalling, dreadful music playing behind the narrator that is so loud you cannot hear the story. This version is an affront to Agatha Christie’s literature!
