This was a re-re-re listen for me because of the new narration and POV change. This is my favorite LB series so I was worried about the changes but this was perfect. Clay & Julia are off the charts HOT!!! I love that they are so honest with each other and when they aren't it's just to protect the other one. Clay is sweet and honest & his dominant side is SO hot! Julia is a bad ass who can take care of herself and she knows exactly what she wants. Their story is beautiful.

Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin did a great job with Julia and Clay.

Hot!!!

Could this book be any hotter? The answer is no! I could not stop listening to this book. After This Night continues with Clay and Julia's story. The heat in this book will set you on fire! Clay is a good man among boys! This quote says it all. "Every woman should be jealous of you because of how I feel for you. Because no man has ever wanted a woman like I want you. No man has ever craved a woman as deeply as I crave you. And no man has ever fallen this hard and this fast for a woman." Swoon worthy!! Can Julia get over her fear and trust issues with men and open up to Clay? You must read this amazing book to find out!

A little disappointing.

I am definitely a big fan of Lauren Blakely books, but I can't say that these were my favorites. While I appreciate that these are meant to be a bit different than her lighter rom-com stories, something was missing here. LOTS of steamy sex scenes, which she does so well, but there were so many that they started to sound repetitive. Add to that the fact that this could have been combined into ONE longer book instead of two short ones...(grrrr). The narration was excellent by VE and TH, as always.

I start every one of Lauren's reviews the same way. I love Lauren and I have read all of her books. They are all amazing 5 star reads and this one is no different. Except this is more Lauren Blakely on erotica crack! After this Night, the second installment of the Seductive Nights Series is so full of emotion and angst. It's sexy and hot as hell. Clay and Julia have been apart since that day when he left her in San Francisco. They have both been miserable alone. Clay wants to trust her and Julia wants to handle things all by herself. Someone has to make the first move. When they finally see each other again, it's off the charts hot! I love Clay. I want Clay. I want to be Julia. Julia is such an independent, sexy woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. They have to learn to trust each other so they can love each other. They don't always handle things the correct way, but their intentions are genuine. Will it all work out? Can they put aside their egos and go all in? And, as always, Lauren brings other character from her books in this one! My book husband, Chris from The Dating Proposal and McKenna, Julia's sister make an appearance. As well as Davis and Jill. And I love the Jane Black name drop, and the No Regrets tattoo parlor. Lauren just keeps getting better and better. Do not miss this one!

Audio: Again, Teddy and Vanessa are Clay and Julia. This sexy as sin couple with dirty mouths and hearts of gold. The perfect narration pairing!

Amazing series!

Julia has definitely gotten under Clay’s skin. He’s so intrigued by her, and even though they’ve spent a few nights together, he wants more. Julia wants more, too, but she’s determined to keep Clay away from her darkness. He’s a good man, and doesn’t deserve to get caught up in the mess her ex left her.

When they see each other again at her sister’s wedding, the searing chemistry is still there. Clay and Julia will have to decide if they want to explore what’s obviously growing between them. If so, they both will need to knock down the walls they’ve erected. As they get closer, things get a bit more dangerous. Clay asks Julia to trust him, and she finally does. But she’s terrified that trust will get him hurt. Clay’s a big boy, and is very resourceful when he wants to be.

There’s so much steam between Clay and Julia, and so much love. Julia’s used to caring for herself, but she loves when Clay takes charge and takes care of her. Clay was the first of Lauren’s guys I’ve read, and after all these years, he’s still my favorite BBF of her books.

Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin do an amazing job narrating this updated audiobook.

Too short

The book was ok but this could have been wrapped up in one book, so thanks for wasting my credit. Nothing really happened in the second book, it was slow.....I want my credit back.
