Timeless Classics

I started listening to these with my 8yo. We had never really gone back and listened to the classic fairytales before and he loved listening to them being performed when he was in bed. Now, he actually goes to be easily, looking forward to the next one. There are 52 stories in all, so enough for over seven weeks if you are listening to one every night.

The best part about these stories is the performance. Each story is vivid and brought to life by the two voice actors. I would highly recommend this for kids of all ages (and adults too).

Not young kid friendly

I got this book so my granddaughter and I could listen to it while she fell asleep but it scared her to much and she started crying. Maybe a child over 10 would like it. The readers voice sounds Ominous

Terrible and boring

These are awful! One of the “morals” at the end of one of the stories is (and I quote), “Even though you may think you’re safe, there is always a chance you could be attacked unexpectedly.” Who actually thinks these are good for children?? Garbage.

This poor review is not for the book but for tha Amazon app

Stupid app won’t let me listen to this without leaving a review and I don’t want to leave a review since I’ve not really listened to this yet

Not for me.

Terrible narrator. I love Aesop's stories but my son and I just couldn't get past the narrator.

Lessons and Morals for Kids

All of the 50 Aesop's Fables ends with a moral. Which is an important lesson for life. Some of these morals are important for adults as well. My life would have been better if I learn these lessons in my childhood. This is not just a little fiction book that takes you child to a fantasy world. There's something to learn from each fable. Thank you Aesop.

Robotic performance

The stories are great (well it's Aesop's Fables, what do you expect?) but the performance is so robotic is unbearable. There are better versions of Aesop's Fables on Audible - I just wish I'd found them before I wasted a credit on this version.

Good stories but Poor Narration

The narrator has a monotonous voice lacking genuine storytelling making all the stories sound the same.
