Publisher's summary

The only daughter of an Irish chieftain has one purpose and one alone: marry well. But on the eve of my wedding, I’m stolen away on a ghostly ship by a warrior trapped in time.

Legend tells of a Sea Wolf who must sail the northern seas until he finds the woman who can break his curse and lead him home.

The legend is real. The Sea Wolf has come for me.

Ægir (a Berserker novella) is a stand-alone fantasy romance novella starring a huge dominant warrior and the woman he will claim as his own. Formerly titled The Sea Wolf, it was available for a few months in the Pirates, Passion and Plunder boxset.

Love

What I liked the most about this story was how it felt like a fairy tale. When the sea wolf showed up to claim the maiden as she was about to be taken to an arranged marriage, it was magical. Hawk was a favorite character, he brought humor to the story. The narrator was okay, best when he was voicing male characters.

AEgir

Enjoyed the story of a cursed warrior finding his mate, who happens to be a witch. The young witch is promised to another warrior. Upon making her journey toward her groom, she is captured by the hero called The Sea Wolf and taken to his lair where he claims her. The next chapters tell of their getting to know one another, but the ex groom is not forgiving as he only wanted the heroine in exchange for her father’s land. It ends with a HEA.
