I really enjoyed this book however I would say I'm a new or amateur bible learner. So this was great to get me up to speed in Acts.

Beautifully done tour of the world of the first century leadership of infant Christianity. Their adventures in and around the eastern Mediterranean Sea was an Odyssey. The Author, Rene, is very skilled and has crafted a phenomenally new refreshing look at the first century Greco-Roman-Hebrew biblical world drawing great comparisons and contrasts with our 21st century world of travel. He captures for us a powerful glimpse into the sights, sounds and smells that these early encountered. I like his teaching on Grace and his encouraging “prayers for the journey”!

Rene is one of the smoothest narrators I've ever listened to. He obviously knows this material. I would definitely buy any future works of his.

I felt like I was part of the author's tour groups on his adventures and encounters with the characters in the book of Acts. At the time of my listening (July 2022), our world never needed this message more. The author is the kind of storyteller and narrator that knows how to use every word to convey ancient but relevant truth. It's been years since I've been this excited and encouraged for Jesus being with us.
