Now I'm taking a crash course in Werewolf 101 at some freaky, secret academy. Not to mention I can't get my mind off an infuriating, yet gorgeous (and off-limits) lion shifter who loves yoga and calling me "poodle".

If I can't get my shift together in this world of underground societies and scandal, I'm going to be up a creek without a doggy-paddle. Especially when a rare ability emerges within me. The last shifter who had this so-called gift wound up dead, and if anyone finds out I possess it, so will I.

Now wolfy and I must step up our game and quit tripping over our own tail.

Life is never going to be normal again.

slow but good

it was pretty slow moving but I will attempt the second book. no steam in this book so far. story just started getting interesting at the end so I'll stick around at least 1 more book. good narrator.

Love the narrator and a great story

So first I love the narrator. She really added to the story. She did all of the characters so well. And made it more of an experience and would love to listen to more books by her.

So the opening of the book. I really enjoyed it. I loved the hate on the paranormal loving roommate. You could really feel the awkwardness of meeting a new person that you are supposed to live with for the next 9 months. And the fact that they are the opposite of you. Loved it. A full disclosure I am totally a Ravenclaw! :)

I think the draw of the main character into the paranormal world was done very well. She was so against anything to do with it. So how to bring her into it. I think the basic animal instinct was the way to go and it was done very well. Also the fact that she was dreaming for most of the book really helped.

I will say that I pegged the "creepy" professor from the beginning but the story was done very well that it was very easily missed. But I just knew. I really did enjoy the tension with the love interest. The meditating class and her tension was great to read. The whole teacher student relationship was cringe worthy but really added to the story. I was really happy how her BFF reacted to her makeout session with the love interest. I was not sure how that was going to go.

I will end with this. It is not fair that we have to wait so long to get the next installment. I want to know now. I need to know what happens next.

Good start

i enjoyed this book good start to a new series interesting academy story with shifters and romance can't wait to hear the rest of the series

Another Great shifter book

I loved the relationship between Remi and Laith . The glimpse of laith's vulnerable side only made him more enduring to me . I can't wait to see more of their relationship as well as Hickoree's interactions with the pack . I'm also looking forward to see how remi's powers develop .

Real Good Shifter Story

Academy Of Shifters book 1 by Marisa Claire is a good story great characters and well preformed looking forward to the next story. I recommend this
