Very Entertaining

Was fun to listen to this great narrator relay these interesting little stories. I am not normally into short stories but this was a definite exception to this rule.

Funny, Entertaining & Informative

This was a fun informative diversion. I listen with my kids 13, 11, and 9 year olds... and overall it was fun and clean but for younger kids the panda breeding problems will invite the "talk" so be prepared or skip that story either way my kids really enjoyed it. The narration was well done and definitely added to the fun.

Adorable

What a fun cute book. This book would appeal to any age. It is a short book but packed full of laughter and great info and great stories. It is sectioned off by different stories and so if you can't listen in one sitting it is easy to listen to just one at a time. Jeanie Talbot does a wonderful job of narrating this adorable book. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave and honest review.

Entertaining Diversion

As I grow older, I find myself seeking the things that help keep me sane in this world of ours. And that has seen my social media feeds change from discourse and arguments, to a lot more animal videos. When I saw this I felt it was the perfect opportunity to hear some out-there and potentially hilarious stories about animals. It was.

Essentially the verbal version of a list of short anecdotes and stories and some goofiness, it was definitely entertaining and scratched the itch that I wanted scratched. I enjoyed the fact that the author and subsequently the narrator gave in to the fact that the stories were silly in some cases, but managed to hold onto the fact that there were some small areas of seriousness about being good to animals and protecting them and the sad fact that some species' survival is entirely in our hands.

I received the review code for this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Absurdly Cute Short Tales or Tails

Absurd-but-True Animal Stories was indeed what the title says. They were interesting and animals are so funny in whatever they do. I love animals so much as they give unconditional love. It was a nice collection compiled by Kyla Colby. I wish it had been longer. There were a few stories I enjoyed more than others but all were pretty cute.

Jeanie Talbot's narration was okay albeit at times a little raucous to the point it was distracting. This was only with a few stories. She had a great voice when she wasn't over inflecting. I'd still listen to both author and reader.

4.5 Stars..Funny, Entertaining and Heart Warming

If you enjoy any type of animal, pet or from the wild or zoo, you’ll enjoy this audiobook.
Numerous cute stories of animals, what they do, how their actions are perceived by humans, reproduction, and some things scientists have learned about a study that relates to humans (the rat casino, enlightening) and understanding dogs and what they understand.
The narrator made this pure entertainment with funny voices, dramatic interpretations of people and animals, and a complete sense of fun!
Short and full of fun. It is broken down into parts so you can listen in bits and pieces if you like.
