Sometimes you just need a basic romance.

I decided I needed a simple read. Not to complex, not a ton of pages, and this fit the bill. I have always loved Jayne Ann Krentz, and I have several sitting in my library waiting for a listen. I loved this book. It had a great plot and was a good read.

Abridged

The full story is much better and makes more sense Purchase the unabridged version Although I prefer this female reader to the male reader

Simple story, not well developed.

Maybe it has to the with the abridgement, but there are way better books in this genre.

I purchased this on the spur of the moment after listening to one of those previews at the end of another book. I remembered how much I enjoyed reading the book and did not notice this was abridged. It was so badly abridged that some of the statements did not make much sense because we did not get to hear what went before. All of the push pull tension between the Stratton and Trevalyn families was gone. We did not get to see how strong Molly was when she stood up to the Strattons. It was a shame that such a fun book had all the depth abridged away.
The narrator was the only good choice. I will endeavor to never make the mistake of purchasing an abridged audio book again.
