I couldn’t listen to the book because of the narrater’s lisp. I couldn’t hear past it. I had to return the book. My story review is required in order to leave a review and may not be accurate, but based on her other novels, I feel it may.
Unfortunate as I really like Carsten Taite novels.

A narrator with a lisp is hard to enjoy in this context.

This author's stories are pretty good but using a narrator with a speech impediment is hard to listen to. Get Abby Craden or anyone with a decent reading voice, please.
