The ARES Virus ran rampant throughout the world, leaving very few remaining. There are no sanctuaries in the midst of the infected, where the very air is contaminated. Even better than the first.
The narrator is a bit over dramatic but does an okay job. A little disappointed that more time was spent on the fleet instead of the main characters but does set the stage for more books. Hopefully the third one will have more of the survingnthe end of the world.

It only takes ONE
"It only takes one."
I thought the first book was VERY good This one is even better.
I have been a fan of John's from book one and let me tell you he
never let's the reader down.
IMHO all of his books are worth listening to..
