Story
It was supposed to be just another mission. Buried deep in the rugged Alaskan wilderness lies a secret that could alter the future of mankind - a secret that billionaire Elizabeth Grey has invested millions in solving. But when the dig goes silent, an elite team of battle-hardened military contractors is brought in led by former Marine Max Ahlgren. While the mission to make contact and rescue a team of scientists and engineers working on an “archeological” project seems like an easy payday, once on ground, the team discovers the grizzly truth that this is no ordinary rescue.

If you liked books one and two, you'll like this.
Apparently cockneys now have Aussie accents, otherwise well read. The book is an extension of numbers one and two of the series and a bit too much time is spent rehashing the previous books through Max's dreams. Great if you're reading this as a stand alone book, otherwise tedious.

Good but kinda Anticlimactic.
Now before I wake up yo see Max standing over me hear me out. This is not a bad book it's well paced keeps good action and leaves the door open in the mind and waiting for more. Here's where it loses me and maybe others. reread the first book and the second one listen to that no hope, no escape scenario. That's what I loved and this, this just makes you feel like something is missing. Its sometimes hard to find new stakes to be raised and honestly dinosaurs and the lizard men just didn't leave that same feeling. I leave this review as my opinion and I love the series but like with most series and franchises... if you can't raise the stakes in the third book, movie, or game then leave it alone till you can.

Vocabulary
The story was fine, but I just don’t know why the author really went overboard with the swearing? It was a bit over the top, and I’m an ex-sailor! It just need to be so prolific through the story.
