I really enjoy this series of books and love the outlook on life and daily interactions. Some books have too many details and tend to lose you in the story, but V. Laurie provides just enough detail for you to picture the scene in your mind yet not lose you in all the details. Can't wait to read/listen to more.

Yes, It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon while I traveled in the car.

It was a light, fun book. No great masterpiece, but maybe that's why I liked it.

Narrator leaves something to be desired.

Not crazy about the reader. She makes the main character sound like a sissy, not a woman with confidence and charisma.

Good serires

I normally really like the heroine of this series. However, in this book she acted more like a 5 year old child than an adult with good sense. I had a very hard time liking her this go around. I would still reccomend these books. Her man is a great guy who seems to really love her.

A great tale!

Once again I enjoyed her characters and a good mystery. The narrator OMG! I'm just on her fourth book so I looked and she keeps this narrator so I hope she just keeps getting better. As of now she's reading me the book. No different voices. Sorry I don't believe I'm picking on her. I'm just surprised that this author hasn't pick someone better to represent her. So I'm hoping they are new together and will grow with each new book.
