Goofy, merry, and fun!

What made the experience of listening to A Very Improvised Holiday Musical (Extended Edition) the most enjoyable?

Love Vern - these folks can make up an entire musical on the spot. It's magical to hear it happen, just expect it to go to some pretty weird places. Plus, Laura Benanti's voice is INDEED angelic.

I cackled out loud while listening to this at work. I’ve seen this group live. It’s amazing that they’re expanding to Audible. I want more, and I want it now.

Funny & Talented Group - A Great Listen

I love musical improv and really enjoyed this. The group has a bunch of interesting personalities and I thought they had an infectious energy. Would be interested in hearing more from them.

Where does A Very Improvised Holiday Musical (Extended Edition) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I haven't heard many live comedy audiobooks so it certainly stands out on in my collection.

What other book might you compare A Very Improvised Holiday Musical (Extended Edition) to and why?

It reminded me more of when I watched Whose Line Is It Anyway on TV, except they also created a musical from the audience's suggestions. Very clever!

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The ensemble together with Laura Benanti were very energetic.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

After a very funny show, the message of connecting with others in real life was very moving - especially around the holidays.

Any additional comments?

I'd recommend it to all for something completely different and fun! My husband and I laughed many times together, especially at the "Little Denmark" bits and emoji scene.
